Scythers can be found in the safari zone I believe...

In Fire Red, in the Safari Zone southwest and south central.

I JUST CAUGHT A ONE..yesturday
AREA 1 WEST... in the safari zone...where you have the wierd patterened grass... It says so in on of the walkthroughs
