Question for Pokemon LeafGreen
I have caught 74 Pokemon in my national dex. In Vermillion city I saw prof. Oak's aide (for the first time there). He said there was another aide looking for me around route 2 with a package for me. I couldn't find him so I went back to Vermillion. The aide was gone! Can anyone tell me what happened?

The aide you are looking for should be in on the top floor of the building from Route 2 and Pewter City. If you can't find him go through Digletts Cave(from Vermilion City)and enter the building you should see when you come out Pewter City end.

There is a aide in route 2 looking for you.
To get to him go through diglets cave in Vermillion.
When you come out the other end you will be just below Pewter city,
So you are in route 2.
Go down and you should see a house, and a tree that you can be cut down.
Cut down the tree and keep on going downwards and you should reach a big building!
Go into it and one of oak's aides will be there.
Talk to him and he will give you HM5 (flash)

The aide is inside a building in a lab coat. He should be inside of one of those transitional buildings leading from one part of Route 2 to another. I believe you'll need Cut to reach him.

You should have done this when you had 10 Pokemon in your KANTO pokedex
The aide he's talking about is in a building connecting route 2 and diglett's cave.
To go there, go to vermilion and go to diglett's cave. Make your way through, and use cut.
You're going to see a small house, but keep going down until you see a building blocking your way.
Go in it and find a scientist guy inside, you'll need 10 recorded Pokemon in your KANTO pokedex. He'll give you HM5, which is flash.
