The only way to get a Squirtle and Charmander (assuming you chose Bulbasaur as a starter) is through trade from another LeafGreen or FireRed game. You can also use the Action Replay and Gameshark codes that we have on this site for Pokemon LeafGreen if you have an Action Replay or Gameshark device.
