There is no best team, however, if you want to make sure to beat the elite four, have at least 3 of your Pokemon around levels 50-65. And 3 of the other pokemon to be around levels 40-50 for the weaker pokemon.

Yo dude you gota get it theres no best team but this is my team right now NOTE: I just beat the elite four and I haven't even raised my pokemons levels

When I beat the elite four I had made sure i didn't lose. I always train my pokemon to lv 75 and at the begining of the game I plan what pokemon and what moves I'll have. I also have level requirements for the gym leaders that I use; Brock, all of my pokemon must be at lv 10; Misty, all at lv 20; Lt. Surge, all at lv 30; Erika, all at lv 35; Sabrina, all at lv 40; Koga, all at lv 50; Blaine, all at lv 55; Giovanni, all at lv 60.
