There is no such thing, but there are moon stones that you can get at the first cave you go in to and sun stone I think you get island 5,6,or 7 but I don't remember for sure

There isnt a sun shard in the game it just dousent exist but to get a moonstone you could just find one in mt moon or in the roocket hidout in cladon city and if you use those and need more go to mt moon and catch a clafary they usauly hold one

Also to add to holmes23 you can get more moon stons by catching a clafery in mt moon they usaly hold one

Blantonluke1 is partly right, a sun shard doesnt exist it's a sun stone you can get it on one of the islands-i think it is to the right of the house with the lady that likes heracross in it. I think you need to surf.
Moon stones are in Mt. Moon, and the team rocket hideout in celadon city. Clefairy hold them 2.
