That is true, but if you battle them again after you've gotten the national dex one of Lorleis Pokemon has been replaced by Piloswine(ice/ground). I think Jynx(Psycic/Ice) or Dewgong(Water/Ice) has been replaced.
Both of Brunos Onixs are now Steelixs.
Agathas Golbat is now Crobat(Dark/Flying). And one of her Gengars or Haunters are replaced by Misdreavius (Dark/Ghost).
I think Lance stays the same. One of his Pokemon might have evolved though.
And yopur rivals Pidgeot(Flying) has been replaced by Heracross(Bug/Flying), and his Rhydon(Rock/Ground) has been replaced by Tyranitar (Rock/Dark). I hope this helps if you want to battle them again.
