Date of Question: Apr 4 2008 | Question ID: 114779 Hi I was just wondring is the weather ever changes in this game, like does it ever rain.
And also I used the cheat where you go into the pokemart and fill in the survey and the guy said that I would start receiving mystery gifts as far as I know I havnt received any such thing... Did I do something wrong

First off, no the weather never changes. It stays sunny all the time, it never even gets dark, unless you're in a cave. Now, if you got the guy to say you will be getting mystery gifts you entered the code in right, but I never got any mystery gifts when I played the game so I don't know what is wrong either

No, unlike ruby/sapphire, the weather doesn't change. Sorry I don't know about the mystery gift thing it never worked for me either.

Oh, no the weather never changes... That didn't come in until ruby/sapphire. (even though this game came after them, technically, this is a remake of red/blue so it technically comes from before them)
And the mystery gift is something you have to go to an event in real life to get. It might be a rare Pokemon or an item that allows you to battle them like an eon ticket etc... Using the mystery gift cheat only enables your game cart to receive the mystery gift, it doesn't actually give them to you. By the way, the special events I am talking about usually only run for a few months after a game's release, and are rarely outside japan or cities in america... So don't get your hopes up in attending one, as they are long since over for this game. Sorry :(

The weather never changes and the mystery gift option was to go to a Nintendo Event to win something like a rae pokemon. But they don't make any event anymore for this game.
