Ruins

Ruins

Hey. Am I the first to notice some thing about Island 6's forest/ruins and Island 7 ruins? Because in Island 6's forest there is a Ruin Maniac and he says something about the grass pattens meaning something. And what about Island 7, the ruins are filled with Unknown. Is that all that is surpose to be or what and isn't there some rare Pokemon in one of those Ruins because it says that there is on the town map. What is that Pokemon? Also, what is Alternating Cave surpose to be? It's empty!! I really want to know all about these Ruins. Thanks. Jaydo_23

Six Island's Pattern Bush doesn't contain anything spectacular. You can catch a few great pokmon there, such as Heracross, but the pattern itself has very little to do with the rest of the game. At least, as far as I see it, it doesn't. I never could figure out what the pattern means though, but it could be something written in Braile.

Seven Island's ruins simply contain Unown. The only thing you can really do here is try to catch one of every letter (I think there's a question mark Unown and an exclamation mark Unown too) and just battle the trainers in the area.

The only time that Alternating Cave actually has a point is when you use the e-Reader, which is some sort of card-swiping device that allows you to access hidden extras within the cave. Unfortunately, I can't go into any more detail about it because it was only ever released in Japan and the US. However, if you use the Encounter code via Action Replay, whatever pokmon you wish to encounter will appear there, but other than those two options, all you'll ever find in the cave are numerous Zubat.
