Sevault Canyon in Seven Island is where you will find Larvitar. They don't come up too often so you have to be patient. You'll have to dodge a lot of Phanpys, Marowaks, and Fearows for that. Or if you have a high enough level character to beat them all with one hit, go ahead for more EXP.
Tyranitar is the 3rd evolution .. Larvitar to Pupitar at lv. 30, Pupitar to Tyranitar at 55.

You'll find Larvitar on Seven Island, but he's pretty rare, so it may take a while. You'll need to Evolve it into a Pupitar at level 30, then Tyranitar at Level 55-or better yet, raise Larvitar up to level 57 and he'll get his last learned move-Hyper Beam-that he'd have to wait until level 75 to get as Tyranitar! And you won't miss any moves, either, don't worry, but bear in mind he'll evolve from Rock/Ground into Rock/Dark, so don't forget that Crunch move will be more valuable later, but Ground moves will not be as strong!
