Question for Pokemon FireRed

When you fix the machine thing for Celio, and you can trade with Ruby, Sapphire, etc., can you trade with Crystal, Gold, and Silver? If you can, do you have use the time machine in Gold, Silver, and Crystal?

I think you can but you don't need tha machine that Celio built, just to the top if the Pokemon center and go to the trading section.
I think you could only Trade Kanto and johto pokemon.
