How can I battle the 2 team rocket goons on mt.ember. The one on the left says that we should dig the hole hear and the other one tell me to go away. Do I have to defeat or catch the moltres up north first? Oh and by the way how do I catch the moltres? Do I have to use a speacial pokeball or can I use ultra balls.

I think to beat the rockets you must first have defeated the elite four,

Secondly, yes a moltres can be caught with any type of ball, and yup ultra balls are recommended :P

No, you need to defeat the Pokémon League, get the National Pokédex from Oak, and have Celio send you for the Ruby.

You need to beat the league first. Then a hole will opne and you can enter the cave if you beat the teo rockets.
Any type of pokeball can catch moltres. But keep using ultra ball

You can catch Moltes using any ball you'd like. I wouldn't use the Master Ball though.

Uh I forget how to get into that cave that the rocket guys are up there for. The ruby is in there though. But moltres is easy. Get like 40 or 50 of any kind of ball. Waste 30 of them. Then throw any other ball it's not been escaped from yet and it might work. Oh and put it to sleep.

First you have to beat the elite four then celio on island 1 wild ask you to find the ruby and sappire the ruby is in mount ember. Once you beat the elite four go back to those guys you will listen in on them and they say somethin about a password then they leave go in navagate through the cave and find the ruby.i would catch moltres it is useful against the elite four first once you catch it trick it out with good moves. Be warned you have to be paciant to catch moltres bring loads of ultra balls around 100 of em trust me he is hard to catch save game before you battle him so if he faints you can shut it off and try again.

In order to battle the two goons you must first talk to celio in the Pokemon center
On island one whan you return they will still be there but there will be a entrance behind them.
PS thats where you find the ruby gem

Defeat the elite four,then go talk to celio and he should tell you he needs the Ruby.
