Question for Pokemon FireRed
What would happen if I skip the optional battle with Gary in Viradian city (Firered)
Would I find him in viradian city after I battle him somewhere else (there isn't only one battle with him in the game!)
Or would he just disappear from there?

If you skip that battle ,you CAN defeat him other places.

Indeed, you can battle him again, any times actually. Hope this helps.

He will still show up for the other battles and he will still be waiting there when you head to the Elite Four. It's pretty funny battling his level 8 Pokemon with your level 60's
