Date of Question: Mar 28 2005 | Question ID: 24385 Can someone please tell me how to evolve Kadabra?

To evolve kadabra you have to trade it with another person.
Once the trade is complete kadabra will evolve on the other persons GBA then alll you have to do is get it back off him and alakazam will be your's.
You do these with a couple of other pokemon which are Machoke into Machamp, Graveler into Golem, Haunter into Gengar, Slowpoke has to be traded with king's rock to become Slowking, Onix has to be traded with metal coat to become Steelix, Poliwhirl has to be traded with king's rock to become Politoed, Seadra has to be traded with Dragon scale to become Kingdra.
Porygon has to be traded with upgrade to become Porygon2, Scyther has to be traded with metal coat to become Scizor.
Seeing as though your kadabra's at lv 70 he won't learn any new moves unless you teach him a TM.
Confusion, Psybeam, Recover, Psychic
All you have to do is select a stone and select use on a pokemon when it say's which pokemon to use it on it should say at the side of each pokemon whether it can be used on them or not.

Yo PokeMom (freaky name)
Kadabra evolves to an Alakazam by being traded.
The evolution stones, Thunderstone,
Waterstone,
Firestone,
Leafstone,
Moonstone,and,
Sunstone,
Evolve certain pokemon.
To use them click on use and it will show your pokemon party. If the chosen stone can't be used on a pokemon it will say no use.
If it can it will show the hp bar like normal and then you just click on the pokemon.
I don't know all of the pokemon that evolve through stones but here are the ones I do know.
STONE USE ON EVOLVES TO
thunderstone- pikachu = raichu
evee = jolteon
firestone- vulpix = ninetails
growlithe = arcanine
evee = flareon
waterstone- staryu = starmie
shellder = cloyster
polwhirl = poliwrath
seel = dewgong
leafstone- gloom = vileplume
weepingbell = victreebell
exeggcute = exeggutor
moonstone nidorina = nidoqueen
nidorino = nidoking
clefairy = clefable
jigglypuff = wigglytuff
Chansey = blissy
These all should work as I have tried and tested them.
I am not sure about the pokemon from the National Pokedex.

Your Kadabra will only evole when you trade him over to another game such as leaf green or ruby and Your Kadabra will not learn any more moves Also the best moves for him to learn are Phsyic,
Now as for your evolution stones they have o be used on certain pokemon, I've given you a list here of which pokemon to use certeain Stones on.
LEAF STONE: Weepinbell, Gloom & Exeggcute use the Leaf Stones on these 3 pkmn.
FIRE STONE: Vulpix, Eevee & Growlithe use the Fire Stones on these 3 pkmn.
WATER STONE: Staryu, Shellder, Poliwhirl & Eevee use the Water Stones on these 4 pkmn.
MOON STONE: Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Nidorina & Nidorino use the Moon Stones on these 4 pkmn.
THUNDER STONE: Pikachu & Eevee use the Thunder Stones on these 2 pkmn.

To evolve Kadabra you have to trade with a friend and it will evolve while your trading and then trade back.
The evolution stones make certain species of pokemon evolve- such as if you give a fire stone to growlithe it will evolve into arcanine.
To use them just select them and pick the pokemon you want to evolve if it is able to use the stone.

I would recomend clam mind pyhchic thunder shadowball for moves the evolution stones are for evolving certain pokemon, like moon stone evovles jiggypuff, nidoreno and nidorena clarify fire stones evolve eevee growlith ect......
You don't give them to a pokemon you use them on a pokemon.

1.To evolve a Kadabra you need to trade it.Preferrably a friend who will give it back to you
2.He nor his evelved form dont learn anything past level 43

The reason your Kadabra is not evolving is because you have to trade it with a friend.
The Evolotion stones are to be used on pacific pokemon such as...Evee with Fire stone equals Flareon!
