Shiny Pokmon are extremely rare in the wild, but they occur in places that their normally coloured counterparts inhabit. The capture odds and battle potential are the same as with normal Pokmon.

A complete chart of shiny Pokmon can be found at the link below:

Shaggy, Ninja Master answered:

1. Shiny pokemon colors vary by pokemon. For example a shiny Zubat will look dark with purple-pink wings. A shiny Abra looks llighter than a regular Abra. They do not, however, stay the same color as they Evolve. A shiny golbat will look the same as a shiny Zubat, but a Shiny Crobat will look the opposite. It will have the inverted colors, his body will be pink, and he will have dark colored wings. A shiny Kadabra will havethe same colors as a shiny Abra, but when it eveolves, it will become darker. It's body will be a dark purple, and it's armour, a dark gold-brown. You will notice a shiny pokemon by the sparkle when it comes out.

2. You can catch a shiny pokemon anywhere, but the odds of encountering one are 1 in 8,132.

3. They are just the same as catching normal pokemon.

4. There is absolutely nothing different about a shiny colored pokemon execpt It's colors. I personally have 2, and my friends always have tried to get their hands on it. So there is no Stat boost to being a different color, but you DO get the envy of your friends!

darkboarder_77 answered:

1. I don't know what color all shiny Pokemon bear, but all Pokemon will bear the same color as a shiny. If you are concerned about running from a shiny Pokemon battle, then don't- when you are engaged in battle with a shiny, you cannot flee. Shiny Pokemon also Flash with sparkles around them in the start of battle. They appear 1-8156 times.

2. Shiny Pokemon appear anywhere that Pokemon appear.

3. They contain regular difficulty level in being caught as far as I know.

4. Apparently not. But on rare occasions, you may find a shiny Pokemon with augmented stats, from what I have heard, though this may be false.

Fluffychicken answered:

1. All Pokemon have a shiny form. I can't explain what they all look like because there's 386 Pokemon. Just go to google.com and type in shiny Charizard, ro whatever shiny Pokemon you want to see.

2. Shiny Pokemon are anywhere. It's possible to find them, but it's VERY rare.Just keep looking and you'll eventually find one.

3. They're just like catching a normal Pokemon, but they're VERY rare (like I said before) so once you find one you'll most likely catch it.You should always carry about 20 Ultra Balls,in case if you run into one =D

4.Some shiny Pokemon are known for having slightly different stats. But there isn't really much of a difference (except for the color XD)

gamepro999 answered:

1. They are all colors. But to tell if they are shiny, stars appear all around it. I saw one in Trainer Tower on 7 island.
2. Anywhere. but the ods are 374698 to 1.
3. Just like normal.
4. They have abnormal stats, but No.

dragon_tamer0 answered:

1) Shiny pokemon are all difforont coulors except the color the supposed to be when they come out of the pokeball or come into a battle theres stars around them.

2) Shiny Pokemon show up at random.

3) Just like catching a normal pokemon only the chance of finding one is 1 10000!

4) No not really there just really rare.
hope I helped.

die_zombie answered:

1.Every pokemon's shiny is different from another pokemon, but they all look cool.
2.Anywhere, in the grass, mountains, caves, waters, you just have to search for ages.
3.They arent hard to catch, yes they are like normal pokemon, but they are hard to find.
4.No they are not, they have exactly the same stats as a normal pokemon.

nintendo_dude answered:

2.They can be found all over Kanto, but are extreamly rare.
3.No they can be caught in the same way.
4.They are of the same statistics of normal pokemon. The only real difference is that they are shiny.

Dark_Espeon_1220 answered:

2. They can be forund in a normal area

3. the odds of catching them are like normal Pokemon

4. No they have the same stats

XxBlaziken411xX answered:

1) It depends on the pokemon the colors just change
2) Everywhere
3) They are not hard to catch their just hard to find
4) No

Guest answered:

1. They look just like the normal Pokmon except their colors are different. In some versions a series of stars surrounds them when the battle starts. On the Summary you will see a series of three stars in the corner.

2. You catch them anywhere, even as the first Pokmon you get, any legendary Pokmon or special event Pokmon (like the weedle at the start of Fire Red when the old man catches the Pokmon).

3. They are exactly like catching a normal Pokmon.

4. They have exactly the same stats as a normal Pokmon.

A note because you didn't specify this is that a shiney has a 1 in roughly 8000 chance of appearing. So you could play your whole life and never see one.

KnockEmDead1996 answered:

Usually Shiny Pokemon are the inverted color of the original Pokemon.
You can catch a shiny Pokemon anywhere but your chances are really low so make sure you do not pass one up..
I haven't caught one before but I think they are just as easy to catch as the normal Pokemon on that route or part of the game would be.
No they are the same Strength as they would be in regular form.
