useless quests?
what do you get for catching a magikarp with a super rod? I havent done it yet, but am curious. Also, what is the point of the up - grade found in the rocket warehuse on island 5?

1. When you catch a magikarp with a Super Rod you get a magikarp.
2. The up-grade is used for evolving Porygon by trading it while holding the up-grade. The Porygon will Evolve to Porygon 2.

Catching Magikarp does nothing.
Up-Grade is for Porygon to Evolve into Porygon2. You have to Trade him then trade back.

Mahicarp evovles to Gyardos, a very strong water poke.
It is a dragon type poke that can also learn Surf, which makes him a water dragon
