Question for Pokemon FireRed
1. What does the 3 ruins contain? A Pokemon perhaps?
2. Can anyone recommend good Pokemons to help beat the Elite Four inclding your rival?

What I did, and I may add that all my Pokemon were in lv. 50, was take a bunch of ethers, 25 full restores, 15 max potions, 20 revives. It was hard but I did beat them. Also have Pokemon that are good against the Elite Four and your Rival.

2. Yeah here are a few!
(If you want it for the second time, just say so)
Zapdos Level 65-Shockwave on Lorelei. Use Charizard on Jynx.
For Bruno, use Articuno Level 65-Use Fly and Ice Beam.
For Agatha, use a Gengar on Level 65 and use Shadow Ball (get it somehow)
For Lance, use Articuno on Level 65, Blizzard or Ice Beam
For Rival
Use Moltres to kill Venusaur, Zapdos to kill Blastoise and an Onix to kill Charizard.
Use Gengar to kill Alakazam
Kill Pidgeot with Zapdos
Kill Rhydon using Articuno
To kill Arcanine, use any water type Level 65
To kill Exeggcutor, use Moltres
To kill Gyarados, use Zapdos.
Here is a team that can do it.
Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, Gengar, Starter, Slowking Level 65
