Pokemon Red Questions

Is it true that there is a truck behind the S.S.Anne? If so what do you have to do beacause I remember that you have to do somthing about losing to Gary and using Cut or somthing. Is there really a Mew under it?

Yes there is a truck behind the S.S.Anne,and no when I did it I did not find Mew,and you wont lose the HM Cut if you surf around the S.S.Anne.

No, this must be another rumor floating around, the only way to get Mew is by cheat device or Old Sea Chart.

Yes there is a truck but it's on the right side, instead of going to see the captain you need to get any Pokemon with cut from a trade (a good one because you'll have to have it with you all the time) and use that to get inside vermillion gym. Then continue with the game until you get to celadon. You need to get a Nidoking to lvl 100 without using rare candies and speak to the rocket at the bottom of celadon. He will take it of you and give you keys which you can use to move the truck. This is NOT a Bogus. Hope I helped!

Most people say there is a Mew I belive there is not as it is just a glitch

Anyway, here we go:

First of all, yes there is a truck. I have been there and seen it. Second, there is NO Mew there, thats just a rumour, I know, I have tried it. If you really want to go see the truck, then do this:

After beating gary, see the captain and make him better. Then, and THIS IS IMPORTANT, IF YOU DONT DO IT, YOU WILL NOT SEE THE TRUCK!! Fight one of the trainers and lose. This will send you back to the Pokemon center in town. I am tellin you to do this because otherwise the ship will sail away. But now, you have cut! Now, go ahead in the game like noraml, defeat the gyms... Blah blah blah... And then when you teach surf to one of your Pokemon, go back to the ship. Go inside, but don't go on the ship, instead, surf on one of your Pokemon, and go RIGHT>>> get on to the platform, and there you have it, the truck!!!

Now, you can do whatever you like, use strength, beat the elite four a hundred times, but nothing, I repeat nothing, will get Mew in the truck. You must get Mew via a cheating device or the gambler trick. P.S. I think, but I'm not sure, the japanese version has Mew inside the truck. But please, I only heard this somewhere, and I don't know if it's true.

Yes there is a truck but there is a Mew if your willing to use a cheat. Enable the cheat that means you can walk through walls and you should be able to get past the sailor even when the ship has gone. Then surf right to the truck and use strength to move it. Ive seen it and caught a lv.30 Mew there!!

Theres a truck by the ss anne but there is no Mew behind it. You can try everything but there will never be a Mew behind it. If you want a Mew fly to curlean city. Go pst nugget bridge and go left till you see a grass patch. Do NOT battle the trainer there. Then go down and immediatley press start. Fly back to curlean city. Your start button will not work. Now go to battle the trainer with the level 17 slowpoke(if you battled him already you will have to start the game over). Let him walk up to you. Win the battle and fly back to curlean. Then walk back up nugget bridge and your start button will pop up. Exit the start menu and there will be a level 7 Mew! Good luck catching it!
