Stormy Night

The chapter starts with Kara serving dinner to Todd and Alice. Grab the plates of spaghetti and take them to the dining table. Turn on the lights then pour drinks for the two before finally giving the napkin to Alice. Now watch as what should have been a simple meal quickly turns ugly when Todd flies into a rage. And this time there will be major consequences.

Alice will run upstairs to hide in her room while Todd orders Kara not to move. Disobey and hit the prompts to turn deviant. At this point, you must run upstairs to protect Alice, as there is no trying to reason with Todd. Now comes the big choice which will be discussed next.

Escape From Todd

Once Kara is a deviant, run upstairs and make sure to reach Alice's room before Todd. Approach the poor girl and choose to LOCK THE DOOR (Kara should have done this the moment she came in).

As Todd comes closer, open the window in the room and step out onto the roof (the window option will be available only if you opened that same window during the chapter A New Home). Carry Alice at the edge of the roof and slide down the pipe. Run towards the bus on the street to complete the chapter.

If you somehow did not open the window in A New Home, you will be forced to escape through the front door of the house. This route will obviously be more complicated as you try to evade Todd by hiding until you make it to the door, or fight your way to freedom.

Kill Todd

Once Kara is a deviant, run upstairs and grab the gun Todd's room (you can only do this if you found the gun during the chapter A New Home). Follow Todd to Alice's room and the gun will automatically be drawn. What comes next is a QTE sequence of Kara defending herself and ends with her shooting Todd.

If you fail the QTE, it will be Alice who uses the gun to kill Todd. Once Todd has fallen, run out of the house and get on the bus to complete the chapter.

Todd dying has no long-term consequence and does not affect public opinion. So feel free to get rid of him if you feel like it. Also let it be known that this is the route I took while doing the video series for this game.
