The Painter

When Markus arrives home from his errands, head for the bird cage first and activate the birds before setting your package down. Next, go through the door on the left to the kitchen and pick up the tray, to be set down on the dining table in the other room. Also stop by the living room to read the magazine on the table behind the TV.

Carl's studio is just beyond the door up ahead where you can clean up a bit before going upstairs to wake him. You can also do the cleaning later once Carl continues his work, but you might as well do it now since you're already here.

Start with the paint box and cans on the table to the left of the entrance then pick up the rolled up cartolina paper under the table. From here, look behind you to the right to finf some red cans on the floor you can pick up.

You're done here for now so go wake Carl in his room upstairs. Open the curatins first and grab Carl's medication from the nightstand to administer it. Go through the rest of your charge's morning routine before going downstairs to serve breakfast.

Carl tells Markus to entertain himself while he finishes his meal, and for this you have three possible choices. You can pick a book from the shelf to read, try to play the piano, or play chess with yourself. Eventually Carl will join you and ask to be taken to the studio.

Go there and pull away the sheet covering his latest painting. If you've cleaned the studio earlier, you can just watch Carl paint until he asks for Markus' opinion about the painting. Be nice and tell him you like it.

When Carl asks Markus to try painting something, you can pick between the statue, the table or to copy Carl's painting. What you choose doesn't matter so just pick whichever.

Now comes the part where Markus must paint from the heart. Select HUMANITY then COMFORT as you go through the QTE to paint a picture of Carl. Carl's son Leo will arrive to ruin the moment, after which the chapter comes to an end.
