Question for Minecraft: Pocket Edition
I need help! How do you breed or spawn new animals? I'm trying to breed cows for leather but it isn't working. :(

How you do it is you trap the Animals wherever you like and get wheat that makes bread or seeds and then you click on the animals with the wheat or seeds and then they go into love mode and make babies.

You can't spawn or breed Animals yet. Mojang hasn't added that yet. But one way is to make a sort of house with an entrance but no doors. Then add lots of lights in there since animals like the light because Mobs can't spawn there. Then use fences and a fence gate to close the house. Then add stairs in front of the fence so that animals can climb it. Then if your lucky animals will go inside and get trapped. I now have 2 sheep and 1 pig. I can farm the wool from sheep's and if I get 2 pugs they will eventually mate by themselves.

I try to breed too..there is I know in pe no breeding till maybe next update

I'm on update 0.8.1 at this point, and I can breed now. You take two Animals, and you hold click on them until they show hearts. You must use a certain thing for each species though.
Sheep: wheat
Chickens: seeds
Cows: wheat (I think)
Pigs: unknown

They have that included for future updates but until then you will have to just use all of eggs they have to spawn Animals.
P.s. Don't spawn a whole lot of Animals at once and the endermen where everywhere.
