How To Get Caught Up On Yakuza Series

As the title of the game might give away, Yakuza 6 is the sixth installment apart of the Yakuza Series (and the final game for its Main Character, Kazuma Kiryu). Even though the game stands alone with a completely unique and original story - with players actually not needing to know the events that occurred in previous Yakuza Titles to still experience what the game is all about - Yakuza 6 culminates the entire life of Kiryu and the events leading up to this point during the previous games released over the last decade or so.

Fortunately, the developers at Sega have actually created a way to let new players of Yakuza Series get completely caught up on the entire story. You see, within the Main Menu is a section labeled Memories, which gives players a basic recap of every game apart of the Yakuza Series to this point. From the Series' early days back on the PlayStation 2 all the way through Yakuza 5, new players can learn the full history of Kazuma Kiryu before experiencing his final adventure.
