Break Away From The Main Story

Even though the Main Story found in Yakuza 6 is incredible, you should definitely break away from it in order to experience all the game has to offer outside of it. Mini Games are not only exciting and different, but they will also help you make Kiryu a better Fighter with the EXP you will earn from them. The Substories found within the game are also great, having amazing storytelling that differs from Kiryu's quest to see who hurt Haruka. On top of all of this, there are loads of collectibles to obtain, stray Cats to find and feed, Selfies to take, ghosts to capture in Pictures and other missions to undertake!

If you're looking to get the full Yakuza Experience, then you should definitely think about taking a break from the Main Story, and a number of times too. Not only will you have a good time doing so, but you will also be rewarded with tons of EXP for all of this extra stuff too! On top of this, if you're looking for 100% Completion and to receive all the Awards and Trophies found within the game, you will have no choice but to stop the Main Story every now and then and simply go explore!
