Skylanders Trap Team Xbox One Cheats and Tips

Upgrading the abilities of your characters is done the same way as previous Skylanders games which is by using points earned over the course of the game. Visit the Persophone shop to unlock new abilities for your heroes and villains and see some movies based on these characters.

There are 47 villains to capture and each has their own special abilities so it is recommended that you experiment with them to see what each one brings to the game. If none of them suit your play style you can always switch back to a normal Skylanders character.

In Skylanders Trap Team you are able to capture and use villains as playable characters. This is achieved by having a trap plugged into the portal and having Traptanium activated. Also, your character has to be the same class as the villain you're trying to capture otherwise you will not be able to fully capture them.

Skylanders Trap Team supports toys from previous games so if you already have a leveled up warrior from your Swap Force or Giants pack for example you will easily be able to put them in and continue where you left off.

Each of the characters in the game belongs to a certain element, the eight catergories are Air, Earth, Fire, Life, Magic, Tech, Undead and Water. You will be able to view the new characters' element when you place it on the interactive portal. It is vital that you have the right character for the job, as some character's abilities have greater effect over certain enemies. Also, if you have the right character class, indicated by emblems on doorways you will be able to unlock special areas.
