At the 'Rune' selection screen you have the option of converting Runes that you either never use or do not like into Mirian. Generally you will get 25 Mirian for a normal Rune and 50 Mirian for an Epic Rune. This may not sound like a lot but if you sell plenty of them at once you can get a decent amount of Mirian.
