Easy Money cheats for Resident Evil 5

Easy Money

Using this method, you can make 10,000 gold in a relatively short while, this does not require a second controller like the other easy money cheat on here.

Step 1. Select Chapter 3-1 (Marshlands)

Step 2. When the game switches over to you, move past the wooden dock. To the left, you should see a glint on top of a gazelle skull, break it and get the Ruby (Pear). To the right, on a post, you should find a Jewel Beetle. (2000 gold)

Step 3. Turn on your map and get on the boat. Head to the northwestern most island, after docking, jump into the water in the center, if you jump just to the right (your right) of the first set of stairs out of the pool, you will find a Beetle (Brown) right behind you, climb back out and head to the nearby ladder, climb it and run to the opposite end, open the chest to find a Chalice (Silver). Jump down and board your boat. (3000 gold)

Step 4. Boat to the sunken ship dead ahead and dock there, run to the opposite end of where you start and find a Beetle (Brown) or Jewel Beetle. Go to the risen end of the ship to find a Rocket Launcher in a case. You can keep it or sell it, whatever works for you. Board you boat to continue. (1000 or 2000 (if you sell the Launcher) gold.)

Step 5. Go to the central island and dock there. Inside the hut is a Chalice (Silver) in the chest, on a totem pole near the dock is a Beetle (Brown). (3000 gold).

Step 6. At this point, you can quit the game and select the "A" option twice and sell your treasure for 10,000 gold (9,000 if you keep the Launcher). Another thing you can do is continue to to the northeastern most island for an optional step worth 3000 gold.

Step 7. (Optional). After boarding the northeastern most island, head toward the fancy skull display and destroy the gazelle skull for an Emerald (Pear). Head the the village square and climb the left tower for a Chalice (Silver). Whether this extra 3,000 is worth the trip is up to you.

On a side note, if you want a lot of treasure at one time and want to complete a section of Chapter 4, Chapter 4-1 (Cave), when you obtain all the treasure, will net you 42,000 gold according to my calculations.
