Yeah first game to have both vampires and werewolves. You can fight werewolves and also become one yourself. In White run find the Companions and join up with them. Complete a few quests for them and you will be able to become a werewolf yourself. Oh and I am unsure where you can find them in the wild, it must be night though, but the Silver-hand normally have forts under there control where they have werewolves locked up. Free one and eventually it will become your enemy.

WARNING: If you are already a vampire becoming a werewolf counts as a cure. You may not be both at once.

There are wild werewolfs! First off if you pay attention to the loading screen it tells you they are in the north. Also you CANNOT become one by fighting them you have to join the group in whiterun. Now I myself have faced atleast a dozen wild werewolfs in the game. The only way to find them is go north in skyrim and wait till night time and walk around in the wild. Know Iam sure we all know what a wolf howl sounds like, listen for that but a very loud one and that's a werewolf. I promise, they are like dragons as they are randomly encounterd. Know to tell the truth I have faced as I said a dozen or so but I have not always won the fight. They are extremly strong! Do not hunt them unless you have a silver weapon or a daedric one which works better than silver BTW.

you mean the ring of hircine you get it by talking to sinding in falkreaths jail you then have to kill a white elk just so you know if you go to the cave before the quest you can get a blades sword then do the quest you can either kill him or spare him if you kill him you will get the saviours hide or if you spare him he will be your friend me i like to spare him because if your already a werewolf i know what he means by not being able to control his hunger because i kinda act like that but its your choice and its always the same cave if you want the sword if you try and find it afte it will be gone you need to get it before the quest otherwise you wont be able to get it at all

I've heard that they are adding them in the dlc Dawnguard I'm not sure

Guest answered:

You do all the Companion's quest's in Whiterun. When the quest "The Silver Hand" or whatever it's called comes up. Thats when you become a werewolf. But yes there are wild werewolves and no you cannot become one by fighting them like you become a vampire when fighting a vampire.

Guest answered:

Just need to finish the quest call silver hand whit the companion in white run
