I cannot talk to anyone...

I played shivering isles on my xbox before and got pretty far, but I lost the GOTY disc and just used my old normal oblivion disk and only played normal oblivion. Well, I got a new GOTY disk and went back to SI, but no one has any dialogue coices, I can't persuade anyone or say anything to anyone, not even sheogorath! I really don't want to start a new charater, can someone please help me?



Comment:(Mar 14 2009) I cannot see any of my quests, and all of my eguiptment has disappeared, what should i do?

Try clearing the game's cache by holding down the A button while your XBox 360 is booting up (until the Game Screen comes up). That's what I did when I had a loot spawn glitch.

If that doesn't work, you may want to back-up your saves, delete and re-install the game data, and load the saves again.

Delete shivering isles and redownload it

Before doing that download the normal version to your hard drive. I have GOTY and broke disk one. I borrowed a regular disk and played SI and NoTN with it. All you have to do is have disk 2 download it then download and original oblivion and it should work.
