Hello, I've just bought an Xbox 360 and I am totally addicted to Sonic the Hedgehog, once I finally got the hang of it. I have just met Siler and I have to defeat him, I am having major trouble doing so. I even asked my 8 year old and he's no help. I can just about manage to hit him once (if I'm lucky) can anyone help either a hint or cheat thanks
Comment:(Feb 22 2008) OK i figured it out basically keep sliding around the edges using your anti-gravity chip, always remebering to keep hold of a ring. When silver glows try to slide into him and run away really fast, that way you should gradually knock his powerbar down.

Just run around until Silver says how about this and either homing attack him or trip him
I agree with sonic1414 but just run and use the sliding kick.using the homing attack is risky since silver gets up quick and you'll still be in the air probaly
omg im playing and i really cant beat silver i had this prob last time and i did it but i forget....??! i just do the slide??

I'm sorry, but this is the most adorable post ever. Lol. I hope to be a pretty awesome gamer my entire life, but I'd be perfectly happy being an average gamer, playing a crappy game, asking my 8 year old child for help.
I'm having the same problem as you but I've figured out a way to at least damage him down to 1 more hit; collect 1 ring and let him throw you at a table, then, you collect your ring and run around the perimeter at top speed until you hear him yell "how 'bout this!?" When you do, try to find him and use your new slide ability to hit him while keeping speed, run away and repeat. This always works for me but that last hit I always homing attack on accident and get caught in mid air and die. Just try not to home in on him with the homing attack and you will win. I know because my brother was able to take him out using this strategy.
