There are no cheats or glitches to get money so you're going to have to play the game and get money yourself. A really good chapter to get money is 5-3 because of all the treasure it has. If you're not up for that then you could try 3-1 because that also has alot of treasure but most of the treasure on that chapter is only worth 1000 gold (each). And if you're still not up for that chapter you could just play on professional because you get doubled the money than what you would get.

On chapter 5-3 when you fight wesker/jill if you really damage wesker he will leave early and will drop the heart of africa (worth 10,000),
Or you can go to the caves you get over 50,000 in one trip.

I usually just play missions that have a lot of treasure in them. That is all you really need to do. I believe that is you play on a harder difficulty you get more money from killing majinis and for the treasures that you find.
