I beat the drift king with the Sivia S15 but then used his RX7, so any light weight rear wheel drive car with a bit of power would be good. Have level two NOS as well and do some NOS grifts. (extra 100 points) Tune wise you would want high start boost and more accleration than top end.

dc chais answered:

I use the chevelle for tracks that have mostly long corners, then the supra for tight corners.

The Dragon Reaper answered:

Use the Mazda RX-8. Just put stage 2 everything.
At tuining, use these setups:

Start/End Boost-All the way to the right
Nitrous: Optional

Steering Ratio-All the way to the Left

Brake Bars: To the Left
The rest 2, all the way to the right.

Does the last line mean thee rest to the right?
Guest answered:

Just use the default Gto, it looks bad but it works

Guest answered:

Supra, with Stage 3 kit across the board!

Turbo settings
Max'ed.

NOs
Both pressure and fed rates slightly above the games default (2-3 notches!)

Suspension
front springs and roll bar , 90% max'ed.
rear springs and roll bar, 20-30%

Gear ratio
1st low about 4 steps up from the lowest.
2nd Max'ed
3rd default
4th default
Etc

Tire pressure
front 80%
rear lower than default (1-2 notches)

When I can manage the power, so I'd suggest the drift practice is used first, I beat the top score by about 2K points!

Rx-7 landed a 13k drift for me on a few ebisu tracks. Tuning is honestly all about preference, as are the cars. Each individual styles.

Guest answered:

The viper srt10 works well make the suspension stiff, high tire presure, maxed nitrous flow and jetting rate, high brake pressure, and leave gear ratios the same
The zonda is a good car, just buy all the parts

Hey boss its not a 69 its a 67-68 ss and naa ithe 06 mustang gt glides around the dock yard and usually pulls 7500-8000 on each run
Guest answered:

All these guys are all are all wrong. The best car is the 69 camaro. Belive it or not there is a thing called the one way drift. How it works is you drift slowly to one side of the track. To do that you need to have your assists on casual, this is very important cause it will keep you from going off the track. Keep all of your power upgrades as high as they can go, but keep all of your handling upgrades as low as they can go(stage one). Now try to keep your speed at about 30-35 mph, by holding the hanbreak and gas at the same time. But you should get yourself up to speed first. Remember it's a drift for points and not to be the first one to the finish line. So you can back up to get yourself a running start so you can start your drift sooner. If you find yourself having trobles doing this, go into the options and turn everythin off in all of the race modes, except drift put you trans to manual and use third or fourth gear. With all of this you can score high points on all tracks, one example is lipzig. Im scoring 60000-67000 points on one of the tracks there. Dont expect that your first try your going to be able to do that. You will problable score closer to 35000-50000. Remember to try both sides of the track to see where you get more points. And remember practice makes perfect!

it's a 1967 camaro, not a 69
there's a biiig difference
Guest said: 9th Jul 2015 | REPORT
I use fully upgraded Camaro SS, it's just perfect!

For tuning, I keep it pretty stock. Depending on track, every front suspension 2-7 to the right, camber all the way to left and rear tire all the way to right.

This is a never-lift tune that will kill you if you don't respect the car, but when you do, it rewards you with easy 15k+ points in any track.
Ps. Works best with assists set to King/ no assist's of any kind.

-^ All parts are stage 4, forgot to mention that.
Guest answered:

I use the mazda rx -8 and it's by far the best car I have found when I raced ryo I beat him in every drift event by at least 1000 points and my settings were

Motor nos ect all level 4

Suspension settings all default

Engine settings all max

Drivetrain all tall

Brakes all default

I used these setting set up my self and this is the best drift car I always get 4000 points and up no matter what drift I'm doing

Any rwd car works just make sure it's got enough power to drift and as for tune settings, tune the cars to suit your driving style

Guest answered:

WAIT I Think A Muscle is NOT Good For Drifting and The Only Best Car for Drag Races And Cornering You Better Use The Silvia and For you Turn Drifts Better Use The E46 or Solstice GXP ( if you Have it ) You Better Use The AE86 ( I Think So )

Can you help me,I'm stuck in second challange drift king battle.
Guest answered:

Drifting is all about personal style. What car suits me may not suit others. I use the nissan 350z. Any rear wheel drive car pretty much works but try sticking to imports, they give better results. And when you tune your ride, have a low tire pressure for your front wheel and a high pressure for your rear wheel. Leave a loose setting for the steering and the spring settings should slightly be on the stiffer side but not too much, just slightly away from the default locations. The rear springs slight stiffer than the front. Keep the rollbars to the softer side and a low ride height. Adjust the power accordingly so that you have a good acceleration and keep the brakes rear biased. That should pretty much do it.

Thank you, very few realise that it doesn't help you use a certain so called best car if you can't handle it because it doesn't suite your style.
Guest answered:

Here's the easiest way to get a nice drifting car:

Choose King level.
Choose manual transmission (clutch is optional).
Turn the damage off.
Buy 2006 Mazda RX-8.
Buy stage 3 (stage 4, if available) engine, transmission, turbo, brakes and nitrous.
Don't buy stage 1 and stage 2 parts.
Other parts should be stock (default).
Wheels (rims), roll cage and racing seats are optional.
Don't tune your car at all.
Don't install body kits, spoilers, hoods and roof scoops.
Don't forget to use parking brake in difficult turns.

Guest answered:

I used the Cadillac CTS-V worked out well all default settings and stage 3 for everything else

Guest answered:

I did it with an AE86. I thought it wouldn't work, but I got 8K points on a short 1/4 mile drift.

Guest answered:

Use an rx7 as it is easier to tune put stage 3 everything on in and use the wide body kit.start your first drift with nos and then kepp using the nos when it is re filled.
