Question for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

How do you activate the gold cauldrons scatterd about in hogwarts it's says once you have learned how to brew the ployjuice potion but havent a clue how to do this we are on 88% and still can not do it please help

The cauldrons are used for casting specific spells, and you cannot use them until after you have acquired that spell. Once you have they can be used.
