Is there a new melee system in Halo 3? If so, how does it work?

It's the same as it's always been. Press B to melee, two melee attacks will result in a beatdown, one melee attack to the back of an enemy will result in instant death. (Default settings, of course)

The new melee system in halo 3 is much more sader then halo 2 ,us the hammer
And use it up and you will be able 2 use the new melee's ,o yeah works better
If you hide next 2 the wall's and crouch EnJoY

Their IS a new melee system, this is how it goes for online. The player with higher health when started will always win. Bungie.net has reported this and a moderator has explained the glitch to other members of Halo 3.

It's completely the same as Halo 1 and Halo 2. Get up close and Press "B". That's it.
