Yes you can, but not if the turret is on a Warthog. Press B to pick up the turret. You cannot reload the turret.

I messed up on the last answer. It's B to detach the turret if it's mounted and RB to pick up the turret if it's on the ground.

Yes, when you run or walk to them, click to use them then notice to rip from there spot, click "B".
