Ooo A easy question...hehe... Okay, This might be effected by the fact if you have a built in hard drive or not. Considering you do, Halo 3 Movies are saved Automatically. So what you do is go into the "Theater" tab and choose the Film you want to watch. Once in there you can rewatch, record, and Take screenshots. Also If you want to keep this file for ever, make sure to click "X" when you are selecting them from the "Recent Films" section. =)
Whenever you play a custom game or play online it automatically films your game. So when your done go to theater and play the film .
From thegreatdestroyer
It films automaticly and only takes screen shots in 1pl matches/levels
You can't take film clips in campaign but you can in everything else. Wierd!
Also to save a whole film without watching go to theater and recent films and press X over the one you want to save.
First you need an xbox hard drive to even get into this stuff.second you can record film the take screenshots of your campaign.
The are saved automatically in the theatre. But the onl last 1 day.( the day you played them).
It films automaticly and only takes screen shots in 1 player matches/level.
