While holding RT you can also push the object away or bring the object closer with the left joy stick.

While holding the right trigger. Push the left thumbstick forward to move the object out, and pull it back to bring the object closer to you. Turn the right thumbstick in and direction and the object will turn in that direction.

Hold RT and spin items with your right stick, till' you get them to where you want them.
