I assume you mean the first vault, Vault 101. Well, the only really tricky part is in the overseer's office. That's the one with the big, round table, the computer monitors, and the round window. Interact with the monitors and try to hack the computer. If you fail, open the lockers on the right side of the room. One of them should have the password in it, which will get you in. Activate the Overseer's Secret Tunnel, and the desk should open. Go down, and eventually you'll find yourself in a square concrete room. There will be a small yellow switch on the wall. Hit it. You're now in the entrance chamber. Hit the large switch, talk to the Overseer's daughter, and then leave.

If that doesn't help, try being more specific on what part you're stuck on, because you didn't give me much info to go off of.

It's one of the first missions. Unless you mean a different vault just restart your game.
