Two questions
1. can you edit your characters appearance during gameplay. 2. my xp is at max, and my explosive skill is only 8, i try to blow up megaton but i dont have a high enough skill (25), when i go to leo stahl he never has mentats, and if i do have mentats from someone else-when i take them it only bumps up my skill to 18, am i doing anything wrong? Thanx for any replies

You can change your appearance by going to Pinkerton after doing the Android Quest.
Hmm, well the only way is to collect the "Duck and Cover" comic books, and getting the Explosives Skillbook.
You can find the location for this in the Supercheats Guide.

1 Yes but you must visit a man named Pinkerton in the broken bow of the ship.
2 You're not doing anything wrong just go find some of the explosive skill books.
