Where Can I Buy Stipmaks for the Lowest Price?
I'm always looking to buy stipmaks but I don't know if I'm getting them for the best price. I usually get them from dealers for 35 caps but I want to know who gives you them for the lowest price. I know that you can get them from abandoned homes and steal them but I want a good source with a decent supply at a cheap price.

You want a lot of stimpaks? Start the quest "Riley's Rangers". You'll find Riley in the Chop Shop in Underworld. Convince the doctor to wake her up with a speech check, or do it yourself with a 60 Medicine check. She'll give you the quest, and she'll give you the location of the Our Lady of Hope Hospital, as well as the Ranger compound if you ask for it. The Ranger Compound has some nice stuff, but it's not what we're after. Go to the hospital, whether or not you actually want to do the quest yet. The first floor is swarming with Super Mutants and Centaurs, so clear them out. Now, sweep the first floor. Most rooms have a fist aid kit on the wall next to the door. Find all the kits and you'll find dozens and dozens of stimpaks.
Also, Doc Hoff, the traveling sales man sells them. If you invest 700 caps into his carravan, he'll give you 5 stimpaks for free. With a high barter skill, you'll get a lot from him for very little.
Lastly, save up the scrap metal you find. You can exchange scrap metal with Winston, or whatever his name is in Underworld. Five pieces of scrap metal gets you a RadAway, RadX, or Stimpak. It's not a great exchange rate, but it's better than nothing. Just save that scrap metal.

You can invest in the caravan for the guy with food and stimpaks and such and if I remember correctly, you get a discount. Other then that, you can get your barter skill high and/or get the perk that gives you a discount at every store.

I prefer finding them as you get them for free. If you did the Superhuman Gambit quest, you can go to Canterberry Commons and invest into the caravans for cheaper and more stuff.
The Caravans roam around. Go to the place above for a map.

You need to raise your barter skill this will lower the prices in all shops there is also a perk you can get which gives you a discount in all shops. Thee is also a perk that raises the prices that you sell items for that you can get.

In Megaton if you befriended Gob he will give you stimpacks 10 caps cheeper

In Tenpenny Tower if you hack into the terminal beside shakes you can change the prices get discounts on everything.

All the prices are more or less the same at first. What makes the prices go down is trading with the same person more and more and higher barter levels.
