how do i change my dog into a magic using dog or marksman dog?
I keep seeing the collars of the holy sky and radiant eye in shops and I have no idea how to use them to help my dog.

You Go into Miscellaneous items and click on the collar and it ill be equipped to your dog and you will also have the option to rename him.

The collars are just really for show, I think one boosts your will and like darklord205 said it lets you rename your dog. You can however change your dog into a Husky or bloodhound or dalmatian. To do this you need to talk with Margo he located in Bowerstone market,(well down by the docks)

I seem to remember hearing that the programers had planned on having that be a thing, but then it got scrapped but they still had some of it in the game so they just left it for show. Not sure if that's true, but thats what I heard.
