Just go to the Temple Of Light and go to the monk that's near the back of the temple, and a little to the right. I think you go into your emote thing and do gift. Then you give the monk money. If not, then you just talk to him and you give the money like that. You just have to eat celery, like lush celery and stuff. You can get 2 in Bowerstone market. I just bought 2, ate them, then slept for a day, then came back and bought more and ate them. You'll know if you're getting thinner because an icon will appear over your head. It looks like >< showing you've lost 1 weight.

BoS is wrong.
To donate gold, go into the main temple building. In the back, there will be a small pedestal. Interact with it and you will be given a small screen that will allow you to select how much money you wish to donate. If you completed the quest, "Oakfield Massacre", you cannot donate gold (I think).
To lose fat, just run and battle a lot, and eat a lot of celery. If you have an amazing apple pie, that's great as well, as it removes quite a bit of fat.

The fastest way to lose fat is to go to knothole island and buy the weight lost potions.
