Easiest way to get a nuke as people have said is to use the Harrier CG/Ac130 then Nuke. And yes your kill streak rewards except those obtained from Care Packages or Emergency Airdrops count trowards your 25 kill streak for the nuke.

There is NO WAY what so ever to stop a tactical nuke, an emp does not stop it (proof - Youtube MW2 Mythbusters). Any kills or points or countdown times (ie bombs) have no use once a tactical nuke gets called in. For example in a normal game of tdm the score is 7400 - 3400 if the team on 3400 calls in a tactical nuke, even if the team on 7400 gets a kill, as soon as the 10 seconds is up for the nuke the team on 3400 will still win.

Finally you can not get a Tactical Nuke from a Care Package Drop or an Emergency Airdrop. The highest kill streak reward that you can get is an EMP.

There is no way to prevent the tactical nuke once it's been activated. You get it as a killstreak bonus after 25 kills. That is the only way to recieve the tactical nuke. I hope this has helped you out.

Only way to get it is the 25 kill streak,just gota get used to the maps and hope more noobs play with you

And only way to stop the nuke is for the opposing team to get the winning kill before the final seconds come to a close

Thers is a way to stop the nuke...if you have an emp call it in during the countdown timer and you'll stop it

Killstreak kills do count towards your streak, but killstreaks obtained by care packages/emergency airdrops don't.

The easiest way for me is use harrier, chopper gunner and tactical nuke and just camp in a good spot

Play hardcore, silenced semi-auto sniper, find a good spot that gives you a good view of the main chokepoint of the map, get a couple of friends to cover you if need be. Also Harrier, chopper gunner or ac-130 whatever you do better with then nuke.

I got a 28 kill streak by using th Aug HBAR LMG with grip and UAV, prediter
And a harrier but if you cancel out the prediter because you only get about 1 kill. On wastland.

The best way to do this on Afghan. Have a silenced Semi-Auto Sniper (the best is the Barrett 50. Cal for power, semi auto, and rate of fire), be playing on a Hardcore match, You should be using a silencer, and have a silenced Machine Pistol as your secondary, preferably the Raffica Silenced. Use Claymores for equipment and smoke grenade. For the Perks, use either Scavenger Pro (for extra mags) or Bling Pro, depending on your preference, then use Cold Blooded and Ninja Pro, and make sure you have the Desert Ghillie suit (camoflague). Go to the C-130 (the crashed air plane) and run up the middle part. Now at the end of it jump on to the 2 pipes on the cliff (you will have to lift yourself up). Now simply crouch down and snipe away. I have gotten a 33 kill streak doing this, and only ended that because I ran out of Barrett Ammo.

There is no way of Stopping a Nuke. Once it's activated, it can't be stopped.

Good luck man. You can either be cheap, by which I mean doing the carepackage-tac. Knife-lightweight-marathon thing, or you can do it the "right way" and just be really good at the game. The only way to stop a nuke after the counter starts is with a 15-kill streak emp. As for getting it from an airdrop/care package, you cant. Sorry. :/

HOW TO GET A NUKE: Don't run out like an idiot and get yourself killed. Play smart, get 7 kills, call in your Harrier strike. Wait it out and the Harrier should get your AC-130/Chopper Gunner unless it gets shot down. Then find a safe place to hide and call in your AC-130/Chopper Gunner. You should easily get up to 25 kills with this. Then call in your nuke.
And don't worry, NOTHING CAN STOP A NUKE, EVEN AN EMP.
CLASS SETUP:
Perks: Scavenger Pro, Stopping Power, and Ninja Pro.
Weapons: Any silenced assult rifle you feel comfortable with, or a sniper rifle if you can snipe. For your secondary use any shotgun or any machine pistol, again, whatever you feel comfortable with.
Equipment: Semtex and stun grenade.
When you are going for a nuke, it is much easier in an objective game type such as domination or capture the flag. This puts you at an advantage because you can predict where the other team will be spawning.
As for the map, only go for a nuke on a map that you know very well and you know all the routes. any map you are comfortable and familiar with.

One more thing: I AM AGAINST CAMPING AND NUKE BOOSTING. CAMPING IS A STUPID WAY TO GET ILLS BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL QUIKLY FIND YOU AND KILL YOU. AND NUKE BOOSTING IS TOO BAD FOR WORDS. NUKE BOOSTING IS CHEATING AND IT IS NOT ACCOMPLISHING ANYTHING.

no you can not get a nuke in an care package or an emergency air drop you have to earn it with a 25 killstreak when its activated in your killstreak line up but yes there is a way to cancel out a nuke once its activated all you have to do is have an emp and it will cancel out the nuke but wait till the nuke countdown starts

There have been reports of the game glitching and getting a nuke in a care package. The only problem is that it takes all match for it to go off. I was once in one and the counter was at 20:10:13 and counting down.

You can't stop the Nuke once the countdown has started. The only way to get one is to get 25 kills without dying. I think you might need to select it as a kill streak though.
