getting back your weapons

When fighting some guards they knocked my sword from my hand and I did not realize and I left. Is there anyway I can get it back or find it

Nope, the area's probably reset by now. You have to buy a new one.

No you go to your house in Mont... Whatever. When you enter the house go to your immediate left. That's the weapons room and you can get it back there. I prefer to fight with just the hidden blades and no weapons on me so I don't really care if I have a weapon or not.

Did it happen near the begining of the game? If so you will get another swor when you encounter your uncle, otherwise yes got to your villa and you should be able to retreive it

If it happened before you went to the Villa then don't worry just wait till you've been to the Villa and buy what ever sword you want or choose one of the swaords in the villa and if the guards disarm you their are 2 choices fight and get the weapon back at the villa (weapons room) later or run and get the weapon back at the villa (weapons room).
