Welcome to my Arena Strategy Guide.
The whole point is to tell you the best/quickest/easiest
ways to get through the arena
(with warnings to some four letter words...) as I've realized it's
a pain in the... yeah.I myself have died again and again with many a
four letter word and occasionally roughly thrown controller,
so I'd like to present to you:

               Kuma Ninotori's Arena Strategy Guide!

All Done! On with the helpings and fixings.

    @~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@

The best thing to start with would be what your facing here. Its helpful to have all the things you'll need, so you don't walk in there and realize 'oh shit'. Death is usually instantaneous after that remark. In account for all rounds, you'll want as many food items, health potions, will potions, and resurrection vials as possible. Also, you might want to try getting some of the spells listed here first, which means read through it before you fight.

________________________________________________________________________

A. Round 1: Wasp Horde

Ah yes, the ever present pain in the ass insects of Albion. You'll face four consecutive onslaughts of these little buggers getting progressively stronger bugs each time. Not that that would be any problem. They'll have become much more of a nuisance than a real threat as you've gotten stronger. But just to be on the safe side, you'll want a decent melee weapon on hand. Nothing special.

________________________________________________________________________

B. Round 2: Hobbes

Hobbes. More different kinds of Hobbes than any other creature in the game, second only to bandits of course. I absolutely hate the little fuckers. You'll be up against four rounds of the crazy midgets, with roughly the same kind of build to the groups... the very large groups that is. You'll probably want a force push spell and an assassin rush spell. Make sure you have them on hand and of course a basic melee weapon.

________________________________________________________________________

C. Round 3: Balverines

Balverines. And a whole fucking lot of them. Lucky it's a partner round, and Whispers here to help. The first two rounds will be plain Balverines, but in the third and fourth rounds you'll be faced with one then two white Balverines. For others who have noticed that you don't necessarily need a silver augmented weapon to kill these things, good for you. Any weapon will do, it just takes longer. Force push and assassin rush are a good thing to have since they do tend to form circles. Slow time is also a very nice spell to have. If you have a summon spell, it's a good distraction. Although, don't expect a wasp to kill one unless you weaken it first.

________________________________________________________________________

D. Round 4: Undead

Lucky you, right after all those bloody balverines you get an easy break. Nothing really special needed here, other than a summon spell for a distraction (if needed.)

________________________________________________________________________

E. Round 5: Bandits

The bandits will probably cause less of a problem than anything since you've already killed so many before. The basic spells force push and assassin rush are good to have, but sadly, a summon spell won't distract them enough.

________________________________________________________________________

F. Round 6: Earth Trolls

Our favorite deathbringers. You don't need any fancy spells for this one, just a bow. Not even a really good bow, just a bow.

________________________________________________________________________

G. Round 7: Rock Trolls

More trolls. A good melee weapon for these guys, as bows take FOR EVER,

________________________________________________________________________

H. Round 8: King Scorpion

This is the baddest of the bad asses here today. Magic, and bows are pretty much useless. You'll just have to rely on your melee weapon for this bastard.

                                }|-Strategies-|{

    @~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@

Now you know what you need to kill them, heres how to kill them.

________________________________________________________________________

A. Wasps

Slashings and bashings.

________________________________________________________________________

B. Hobbes

These guys bring about our first actual strategy. In every round, there will be two Hobbes with magic staffs. You'll want to take these out first else they'll cause a considerable distraction. Once there gone, more slashing and bashing. If too many get on you, a force push or assassin rush will get you out and you keep killing until there gone.

________________________________________________________________________

C. Balverines

Our favorite furry fuckers. In the first two rounds you'll be faced with a handful of average brown balverines. Slashings, bashings, force push, and assassin rush will get these out of your way the easiest. When you get to the third round however, a white balverine is added. Ignore this one and kill all the others first. Once only the white balverine is left, slash and bash it again and again until its dead. If its to much trouble, try to run it into the spikes and propellers around the arena to knock it down for a second. Slow time is a must. Do the same thing for the fourth round, only on the two white balverines. Whisper will distract the other one while you kill the first, but she won't do a lot of damage.

________________________________________________________________________

D. Undead

Basically more slashings and bashings, but you'll want to watch out for when Whisper tosses grenades. She tends to hit you more than she hits them.

________________________________________________________________________

E. Bandits

Slashings, bashings, force push/assassin rush. Again, watch for grenades.

________________________________________________________________________

F. Earth trolls

I found these to be pretty easy once you get into it. There are two earth trolls on either side of the arena. Pick one, and Whisper will distract the other one. While dodging the rocks she tosses at you, fire fully drawn arrows one at a time until she's dead. Booyah. When you turn to see the other one, you'll notice Whisper hasn't done much. Just repeat the same steps and she's gone. By the way if you haven't noticed, when Whisper's health bar reaches zero, she doesn't die. She's like fricken immortal or something.

________________________________________________________________________

G. Rock Trolls

While you may try and use the same strategy to kill these guys as the earth trolls, your mistaken. It will kill them, but its easier to use melee. Whisper's got one for the moment, so pick the other. If the troll is just hurling rocks, run up and slash and bash. The troll will just look around trying to find you. After a little bit, the troll will get mad and do a radius attack. Run away for a bit, and once the troll hurls rocks again, go back for the kill. Once he's dead, go help Whisper before she kills herself. Not that she can...

________________________________________________________________________

H. King Scorpion

For those of you who've played Zelda: OOT this guy is quite similar to Ghoma. He'll charge at you for a bit, so just run. When you see him stop and a green light shows up in his eye, run over for some slashings and bashings. You'll want to do it quick and then run though, cause the next thing he'll do is jam his tail into the ground and have it come up underneath you. He'll repeat the process a few times until he's dead. One other thing he'll do is burrow under ground for a bit leaving a bunch of tiny scorpions behind. You don't really have to kill them if you don't want to, so just run around until he comes back.

________________________________________________________________________

I. Whisper

God forbid one prize and two winners. In this extra round, you have to defeat whisper. She's pretty fast, so don't bother with any other magic than assassin rush, and screw a bow. Once you've got her, have a choice between killing her and getting 120 evil points plus ten thousand more gold. Or, walk away, get 120 good points and no extra money. You get all the money you earned either way.

    @~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@

If you want the maximum amount of money you can get, you'll have to stay in for all 8 rounds. Its not as hard as it sounds. Just stock up on as much food, health/will potions, and resurrection vials as financially possible before entering the game.

I hope this guide was of some help to you! If you want to add something I didn't mention or you have more questions, or you need another guide to something else, feel free to email me at: [email protected]
