Question for Tony Hawk's Underground

How do you get across the bridge? I grind on the poll but the cop's see me all the time.

You've got to complete the mission "get the scrap metal for the tomb stone maker" where you get the pieces of scrap metal from the roofs then you will be asked to skitch a car an get speed then press down near the ramp near the bridge and if you jump at the right time you will fly over get the gap "clered the bridge" and you will be allowed to the other half of jersey whenever you want.

Another way to do it is when you skitch the car and let go right as you get to the ramp, press A and hold L and R you should go right over the bridge.
