I've tried to get the lords mail but can never find it I know it's aroun ebonheart but where plz be descriptive

When you go to Ebonheart, you can go into the little circular stream thin that surrounds the main castle. There you can walk around to the back and somewhere around there is a door. You go into there and walk on through, there will be an ex-soldier there with the armour. Kill him off and the armour is somewhere in that room.

PS - the armour glows.

I put my lord's mail in my house in balmoral then came back to retrieve it but its not where I left it and cannot seem to locate it. are there thieves in Balmoral
