When you go to Onderon and you meet Master Kavar is their any way you leave without killing him becuase I need all those masters to win the game.

You just got to say the right things to him. Things that are nice.
If you haven't noticed it already, Master Kavar is Queen Talia's advisor. You also have to be light side. Supporting the queen is light side, supporting Vaklu dark side. I think that's the key. Be light side and support the queen and he will teach you a new technique and leave peacefully.
