If you've just started a new game then you can buy the silver crystal in one of the two twins shops for 250 credits if not and you're about half way through you find it sometimes when you kill enemies

Another place to get it is on narshada if you help the good merchant he will sell you a silver light saber crystal

When you have done the Rodian's Trade Routes: Bonus Mission, and you have done Dxun and Dantooine, then you ask to see her stuff then she should have a silver lightsaber crystal.
