Question for Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005)

What is so good about the beam sniper from getting six head-shots with a marksman ? Every time I use it my accuracy seems to get lower.

You don't need headshots with the award sniper rifle, a hit basically anywhere on an enemy will kill them, except for the head where it usually misses

Well actually you do need head shots but I would then aim for the body and it should kill them in one. I would use the beam rifle in galactic civil war as it has 2 zoom modes (i think) and it works in the same way as princess leia's sporting blaster. In the clone wars the rifle has only 1 zoom mode and is really rubbish actually.

My personal opinion... I really hate the award sniper. I think the old sniper is better because I like head shots and the award sniper doesn't shoot as far as the regular gun. Plus when an enemy is in a turrent you can't kill them with the award sniper because you can't hit their head.
