There are 2 ways to get by them. 1. Have a somewhat good guile skill. Slowly sneak by. (This is still annoying as crap though lol)
2.Let them see you. Kill them all. (Shouldn't be hard) Then,head towards the gate. When you get there, it isn't open. Turn around and go a short distance away from the gate. There is a big rock to the right of you. There is a small spot where you can hide behind it. Allow the gates to open. Let the new guards walk past you. After the last one passes you, haul it towards the gate. Lol You should make it with ease though. I prefer the 2nd way. I have beaten this game well over 30 times, and thats usually what I do.

Oh, I was confused at first, but I see what you mean. You are at the part in the game where you are attempting to sneak past Twinblade's bandit guards that are patrolling the area, right? Well, the first thing you should know is that if you are spotted, you should not even attempt to hide. If one of the bandits spots you then you should just go ahead and kill all of the Bandits in the area. Then go hide somewhere and wait until the gate opens. Do not attack any of the bandits, whenever they pass by your location, run to another hiding spot and wait till the other bandits pass you. This is the hardest part of that portion of the game, once you get past the gate, you are home free, and you can kill Twinblade if you want to.

Well you go into the forest then get spotted then kill the guards then ther is a big rock there hide behind it then when the guards come out again wait until there all gone then run through the gate

MY way of doing it is similar to the others way, only you get some experiance my way. Let yourself get noticed, kill all the gaurds, hide behind the rock, and when the third gaurd stops on the otherside of the rock, pull out your bow, and put a fully charged shot right into the brain bucket for a decapitation, grab your experiance, punt his head, and run home free.

My way is similar as well but it gets you more experience all you need to do is have accuracy and the other abilities in skill to at least level 2-3 the get a good weapon my preference is the ebony crossbow as it's one of the stronger ones and fire fully charged arrows at their heads fo a instant kill then get the experience the move to the area where it's like a sniper position and keep charging until one of two things happen 1) the bandit patrolling the area where you get to it is and kill him then turn your attention to the other dude or 2) kill the one closest to the gate first the the one closest to you then you're home free
