To get a great start to the game, enter these codes while still in the cabin of your ship in the beggining of the game. First enter (A,Y,X,X,Y,Y,B,Y,X,A) and that will give you Invinsibility. Then enter (A,B,Y,X,Y,B,B,Y,B,A) this will give you 50 skill points. Then press B and select Character. Then boost your skills all the way up to ten, you will need to enter the 50 skill point code a second time to completely boost all of your skills up to ten. Then to get +100,000 gold, enter this code a couple of times, (A,X,Y,B,Y,B,X,B,B,A). All of these codes can be used at any point of the game as long as you are on land. Then go out and fight Malcom untill you level up a few times, then put your Abilities on Basic, Advanced, and Proffecional Ship Defence. You can level up as much as you want in the beggining. Then level up just one or two more times and then get the Ability, Fast Reload for your cannons. Then go out and complete you shopping. It would be best to get the best ship that is available at the time and always look for a Battleship since it is one of the best ships in the game, but it is not always available but if you see one buy it. Then sail out to Redmond, which is to the North. Then sail back to Oxbay Island then press Y and Quicksail to Oxbay Fort and they will fire at you with cannons but don't worry, your ship is invincible and if your sails start to take too much damage or you start running low on crew members, you can Quicksail to Greenford and fix your problem, but just sit there and fire your cannons at the fort and when you see Fort Cannon Exploded you will get 500 experience points. If you continue this for a long time you will reach a high level fast.
